Steve Jobs Co-founder and CEO of apple, abdicated the post of CEO of apple and is now looking forward to working as the chairman of apple.TIM COOK take's over the place of jobs as CEO.
Jobs to The Apple's Board Members and The Apple Community in a separate letter,
"I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come."
He finished by saying that
"Apple's brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it".
Cook COO joined apple in 1998 and has long been job's right hand.
